Terms & Conditions – Motogirlsuk Motocross Events These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, spectators, staff, vendors, and attendees attending any motocross event, training day, camp, workshop, or competition organised by motogirlsuk By registering for or attending an event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. ⸻ 1. Participation Eligibility 1.1 All riders participate at their own risk. 1.2 Participants must: Be medically fit to ride Have suitable motocross experience for the event level Use appropriate safety equipment at all times Follow all instructions from event officials and marshals 1.3 Riders under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian. 1.4 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, aggressive, disruptive, or deemed unsuitable. ⸻ 2. Safety Requirements 2.1 Approved motocross safety gear must be worn at all times while riding, including: Helmet Goggles Boots Gloves Protective clothing Chest/back protection 2.2 Bikes must be maintained in safe working condition. 2.3 Riders must obey all track rules, flag signals, marshal instructions, and event safety procedures. 2.4 No alcohol or illegal substances are permitted before or during riding activities. 2.5 The Organiser reserves the right to conduct safety inspections of motorcycles and equipment. ⸻ 3. Assumption of Risk 3.1 Motocross is a high-risk sport involving possible injury, permanent disability, or death. 3.2 By participating, attendees acknowledge and accept all risks associated with motocross activities, including but not limited to: Collisions Falls Mechanical failures Weather conditions Track conditions Actions of other riders 3.3 Participants accept full responsibility for their own safety and personal belongings. ⸻ 4. Liability Waiver 4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, staff, volunteers, sponsors, venue owners, and affiliates shall not be held liable for: Injury Loss Damage Theft Accident Delay Cancellation arising from participation in the event. 4.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. ⸻ 5. Medical Treatment 5.1 Participants consent to receiving emergency medical treatment if required. 5.2 Any medical costs incurred are the responsibility of the participant. 5.3 Participants should disclose any relevant medical conditions before the event. ⸻ 6. Bookings & Payments 6.1 Full payment is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed. 6.2 Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 6.3 Prices may change without notice prior to booking confirmation. ⸻ 7. Cancellation & Refund Policy 7.1 Participant cancellations: More than 14 days before the event: full refund or transfer Less than 14 days before the event: non-refundable unless agreed otherwise 7.2 No refunds will be given for: Failure to attend Late arrival Removal due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour 7.3 If the event is cancelled by the Organiser due to weather, venue issues, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, participants may be offered: A transfer to another event Event credit Partial or full refund at the Organiser’s discretion ⸻ 8. Photography & Media 8.1 Photos and videos may be taken during events. 8.2 By attending, participants grant permission for images and videos containing them to be used for: Social media Marketing Advertising Website content Promotional materials 8.3 Participants who do not wish to appear in media content must notify the Organiser in writing before the event. ⸻ 9. Behaviour & Conduct 9.1 Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. 9.2 Bullying, harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or dangerous riding will not be tolerated. 9.3 The Organiser may remove any attendee without refund for inappropriate behaviour. ⸻ 10. Weather & Event Changes 10.1 Events may continue in varying weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. 10.2 The Organiser reserves the right to: Amend schedules Change venues Modify activities Cancel sessions where necessary for safety or operational reasons. ⸻ 11. Personal Property 11.1 Participants are responsible for their own: Motorcycles Equipment Tools Clothing Personal belongings 11.2 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged property. ⸻ 12. Insurance 12.1 Participants are responsible for arranging their own: Personal accident insurance Medical insurance Bike insurance 12.2 The Organiser recommends all riders have adequate motocross-specific cover. ⸻ 13. Data Protection 13.1 Personal information collected during registration will only be used for: Event administration Safety purposes Communication regarding events 13.2 Information will not be sold to third parties. ⸻ 14. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. ⸻ 15.
