Enter the track in a safe manner only via the track entrance, one bike at a time; always obey signals from a marshal. The marshal may check your wristband before entry. Exiting the track: Only leave the track at the exit point in a safe manner. Stopping on the circuit: Only stop in case of mechanical breakdown or you are instructed to do so (because of signal from a marshal or light system). If you are forced to stop on the circuit or run-off area, park as safely as possible, far from the track and, if possible, behind a barrier. If you are injured, stay with your bike and wait for help. Try to move to a safe position where you can be seen. Try to make yourself safe and comfortable. If you see a rider who is in distress, stop safely and report it to a marshal. Warning signals:
Fatcat uses marshals to warn riders of dangers and other events. References to flag colours mean either flags used by marshals. Flag Signal Meanings: Yellow: Great danger, prepare to stop. Ride with extreme caution. Do not overtake. Red: All riders must stop. Come to a complete (and safe) stop and await instructions. Do not pass a red flag or light unless instructed to do so. If you are asked to move, do so slowly and cautiously. A red flag usually signals the end of the session. A red flag may also be accompanied by a siren. If you hear the siren, you must assume that a red flag is in operation and act accordingly. Chequered: finish, end of session. All riders must exit the track safely and return to the paddock. Clothing and PPE: All riders must wear as a minimum: Goggles (not sunglasses) Helmet Boots Gloves Durable clothing that covers arms and legs Chest and back protection (to ACU standard or higher) Your clothing and equipment must be in good condition and free from any defects. We prescribe the minimum that you must wear, but it is your responsibility to ensure that generally you are wearing clothing and equipment that is safe and appropriate for the physically demanding sport you are about to undertake. We recommend you always inspect your clothing and equipment before each use. We do not inspect your clothing and equipment for you. Conduct on track: Motocross can be dangerous.
